The Cogeco Golden Horseshoe Tournament is please to now accept applications for this years Scholarship Award.
Each year we select a local Burlington student who has led by example through hockey, academics, as well as giving back through volunteerism.  A total of $1,000.00 per year will be provided to the recipient to a maximum of four qualifying years.

Take a few minutes to see why Burlington has once again been voted as one of the most "livable cities" in Canada.

Looking back at the 2011 Youthfest Burlington organizations Annual Celebration Dinner to mark the achievements of its local youth.
Highlighting the evenings event was special guest and keynote speaker Doug MacLean.  Doug is a former NHL head coach where he took the Florida Panther to the Stanley Cup Finals in the ’95-’96 season.  As well he spent many years with the Columbus Blue Jackets in a variety of responsiblities including GM.  Most currently Doug has been a hockey analyst with both Sportsnet and TheFan 590.

Doug is pictured here with “Shoe” Director Paul Fratesi accepting a donation to Youthfest on behalf of the over 200 volunteers that annually helps to make the Burlington Golden Horseshoe AAA Hockey Tournament one of the best hockey tournaments in all of North America.
